Nd:YAG laser for LIBS, rebuilt
A pulsed LIBS laser from a UNAM ICF lab, rebuilt in 2026 with a more compact chassis and new electronics, touch screen and energy certificate.
The laser came back to our shop and left with new control, a separate head on top of the cabinet, PC connection and sync inputs and outputs for the spectrometer. It shipped calibrated, with an energy certificate per pump level.
What we did
- Control electronics, 850 V bank charging and lamp ionization
- Firmware with shot counter, external trigger and auto mode
- 3.5" touch screen, USB and BNC trigger and sync
- Energy calibration and second-harmonic test (532 nm)
