Pneumatic actuator for ultrasonic heads
Aluminum block with 7 O-ring-sealed pistons that push each ultrasonic head against the surface being inspected.
The pistons share an internal air channel fed through two fittings; the block mounts on the module’s own threaded posts, which act as guides. We calculated the piston and cover O-ring grooves, made the CNC drawings and tested the assembly.

- 3D design and drawings of block, pistons and cover
- O-ring groove calculations (dynamic and static)
- Machined parts for 24 actuators
- Function tests on video
